The cast has been announced for Jimmy J's genre-bending adaptation of Ovid's 1st century poem coming to The Cockpit from 16th May - 1st June 2024, reclaiming the transgender narratives that underpin so much of Greco-Roman mythology.

George Michael: Singer, songwriter, LGBTQ icon, and tragic hero? Kissing a Fool, an interdisciplinary Queer Cabaret show about the Wham! frontman might just have you revaluating everything you thought you knew about your mum’s favourite teenage heartthrob.  

A vibrant and diverse cast of 14 LGBTQIA+ and Deaf performers will come together to perform Emma Frankland and Subira Joy's adaptation of John Lyly's early modern play Galatea at Brighton Festival, which was written in the 1580s and performed in front of Elizabeth I.

Sound of the Underground, co-created by Travis Alabanza and Debbie Hannan, unleashes queer chaos on the historic Royal Court. Over the course of three acts, a cast of real London drag performers use every weapon in their arsenal to shed light on the realities of the city’s dying queer nightlife scene, the commercialisation of drag, the persistence of homophobia and transphobia, and the lack of money in the arts… but they have a lot of fun in doing so.

Casting has been announced for Travis Alabanza's first play for the Royal Court Theatre, Sound of the Underground. Spotlighting London's iconic underground club culture and questioning what it means to get your money's worth when it comes to art, Sound of the Underground will bring together legends of the London Queer club scene from Thursday 19 January - Saturday 25 February 2023 in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs.
