Producer Daryl Roth announced today that the long-running Off Broadway favorite Love, Loss, and What I Wore will close on Sunday, March 25, 2012 after playing for two and a half years and 1,013 performances. (March 15th marks the show's landmark 1,000 performance.)

Little Beast Theatre Company is set to present the Los Angeles Premiere of MINE, written by Bekah Brunstetter and directed by Dep Kirkland and starring Sam Daly, Adam Harrington and Kieren Van Den Blink.

Midtown Direct Rep will hold a fundraising event to benefit the company during the opening week of Rated P for Parenthood, it was announced today. The Special MDR Off-Broadway fundraiser ticket will include prime orchestra seats to the Friday, March 20th 8:00 p.m. performance, exclusive talk back with the cast and the creators of Rated P, and a champagne after-party coach ride back to SOPAC with members of the cast, Ms. Rustin, Mr. Dobrish and producers who all call South Orange/Maplewood home.

Laughter and tears, gossip and home-grown advice are as prevalent as hair rollers in Truvy's Beauty Salon, the setting of the heartwarming comedy-drama Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, playing at Bristol Riverside Theatre on March 20-April 8. Susan D. Atkinson directs an ensemble cast of BRT favorites including Jennie Eisenhower, Diane Findlay,Laura C. Giknis, Barbara McCulloh, Susan Moses, and Jo Twiss.

Bob Lappin & The Palm Beach Pops celebrate the great Louis Armstrong with Tony Award Winner Lillias White and renowned trumpeter and vocalist Longineu Parsons to honor the everlasting legacy of this legendary musician. With a six-night South Florida engagement entitled "Wonderful World: A Salute to Louis Armstrong," this concert will run February 6 & 7 at the Kravis Center, West Palm Beach, February 8, 10 & 11 at The Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium at FAU, Boca Raton and February 12 at the Eissey Campus Theatre at Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach Gardens. THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will be presented for three performances only at the Herbst Theatre, San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center, 401 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco on Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, returns to the James K. Polk Theater at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, 505 Deaderick Street, Nashville, Friday, April 27 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 28 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The Actors Fund, the nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, will present a benefit reading of A. R. Gurney's classic Love Letters starring Patricia Clarkson and Bryan Batt. This one night only event, just in time for Valentine's Day, will be on Monday, February 13th at 7:30 pm at The Westside Theatre.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Daytime Emmy Award-winner and "One Live to Live" star Robin Strasser, Erica Watson (Precious), and TV icon Dawn Wells ("Gilligan's Island") will all join upcoming casts of the Off Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore, now in its third smash year. Strasser joins the February 2012 cast (February 1 - 26) on the heels of the final episode of the long-running "One Life to Live," and Wells joins the same cast having recently performed in the successful Chicago production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Watson will take part in the show beginning February 29, through April 1, and was also part of the show's Chicago run.

Producers Andrew Asnes and Timothy Schmidt have announced the complete casting for the New York Premiere of the new musical comedy Rated P for Parenthood. The cast will feature Courtney Balan ([title of show], Cry Baby), Chris Hoch (La Cage Aux Folles, Shrek), David Josefsberg (The Wedding Singer, Grease!) and Joanna Young (The Drowsy Chaperone, Grease!) with Natalie Charle Ellis (9-5, National Tour) and Spencer Moses (Guys and Dolls).
