Jeff Kober to Lead West-Coast Premiere of WHERE THE GREAT ONES RUN this May

On the heels of their 2011 Best Production Awards sweep for Small Engine Repair (Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, LA Weekly, Ovation, and Garland Awards), Rogue Machine have announcesd the first production of their new season. Seen for the first time on the West Coast, Mark Roberts' Where The Great Ones Run, will include an award winning cast of actors led by Jeff Kober from May 26 at Rogue Machine, 5041 Pico Blvd., LA, CA 90019.

You might not expect a theatre company named Zombie Joe's Underground would be the typical place to find a fairy tale play based on the Brothers Grimm characters. What you would expect to find is Grand Guignol horror done up in genius ZJ fashion in productions like their long-running URBAN DEATH and ATTACK OF THE ROTTING CORPSES. This unique group of artists, however, loves to delve into worlds beyond the norm and explore them from a new perspective.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS Comes to Buffalo

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the smart, provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will be presented for two performances only at Buffalo's Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo-North, 103 Center for the Arts, on Saturday, April 14 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Penguin Rep Theatre, Morton Wolkowitz's MIRACLE ON SOUTH DIVISION STREET to Open 5/13

Penguin Rep Theatre (Joe Brancato, Artistic Director, and Andrew M. Horn, Executive Director) and Morton Wolkowitz (Stomp, The Unexpected Man) will present the Off-Broadway premiere of Miracle On South Division Street, by Tom Dudzick, directed by Joe Brancato. Performances begin April 25th at St. Luke's Theatre. Opening Night is set for Sunday May 13th.

STEEL MAGNOLIAS Closes at Bristol Riverside Theatre, 4/8

Laughter and tears, gossip and home-grown advice are as prevalent as hair rollers in Truvy's Beauty Salon, the setting of the heartwarming comedy-drama Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, playing at Bristol Riverside Theatre through April 8. Susan D. Atkinson directs an ensemble cast of BRT favorites including Jennie Eisenhower, Diane Findlay,Laura C. Giknis, Barbara McCulloh, Susan Moses, and Jo Twiss.

Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will return to Atlanta by popular demand for a limited engagement at the Alliance Theatre, Woodruff Arts Center, 1280 Peachtree Street NE. Performances will be June 7 through 10 and June 14 through 17, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.
