Berkshire Playwrights Lab will present a staged reading of Richard Dresser's The Handyman, directed by Joe Cacaci, on Wednesday, August 7 at 7:30pm at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center (14 Castle Street, Great Barrington, Mass.). "Botanicum Seedlings," Theatricum Botanicum's development series for playwrights, is pleased to announce the recipient of the 4th Annual "Izzy" Award. The winning play, Recipe by Michael Gene Sullivan, was first presented as part of last year's spring playreadings. The Izzy is named for Theatricum's late dramaturg, Israel Baran, who passed away in 2007. To honor Israel's keen mind, sharp tongue, and ear for language (despite the fact that he was frustratingly deaf), the Izzy was established to recognize the Seedlings play that "speaks to us the loudest."

TV Land announced today that the ladies of 'Hot in Cleveland' will soon be getting some special visitors in town as Mary Tyler Moore, Valerie Harper and Cloris Leachman reunite with their co-star of 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show,' Betty White. The casting news comes just weeks after Harper's diagnosis in January of leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a rare and incurable form of brain cancer.

This past January, CBS Television Distribution announced that it has sold 'Hot in Cleveland' to TV stations in 92% of the United States for a September 2014 launch. The series stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White.
