Emmy Award-winner Wanda Sykes brings her smart-witted stand up comedy back to the CHI Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for two nights only - Friday, October 15 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 16 at 8 p.m.
According to published reports, stage vets Idina Menzel and hisband Taye Diggs, Jude Law, Kyra Sedgwick, Terrence Howard, and Jennifer Garner are among the celebrities that will be stopping by Sesame Street this upcoming season. BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that comedian Wanda Sykes will be leading the Media Theatre's production of ANNIE as 'Miss Hannigan' this holiday season. Sykes will open the production on November 23 and close the production on January 16, 2011 following a Christmas absence. The theater today released an audition notice and are seeking all roles, including a cover for Sykes while the star fulfills her holiday commitments. The production will be directed by Media Artistic Director Jesse Cline and musical directed by Tom Fosnocht.
Broadway favorite Cheyenne Jackson will be guest starring on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm next season and was recently spotted filiming in Washington Square Park.
