Jones book series is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and the world's funniest first-grader is front and center at Walnut Street Theatre. Kids, parents and grandparents can read the books together and see their favorite characters live on stage in an hour-long musical filled with lots of laughter. Due to popular demand, the Walnut has just announced the production has been extended! Junie B. Jones will now run June 2nd through June 18th.

Some of Philadelphia's biggest musical theater stars are teaming up for a one-night only salute to the Great White Way. The Summer Club Salutes Broadway will feature a 17-piece live big band performing hits from Jersey Boys, The Music Man, Guys and Dolls, Cabaret, and more at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center (7 Lock Street, Philadelphia) at 8PM on May 1.

Walnut Street Theatre concludes its landmark 208th season with an exciting musical inspired by the 1977 film that became a cultural phenomenon, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER. SandRico Productions will present a musical theatre work-in-development with a public reading of 'From the Bodoni County Songbook Anthology:  A Musical Revue (of sorts)' with original text and lyrics by Frank Gagliano and music by the late Claibe Richardson. 

Temple Theaters closes their 49th season with Caryl Churchill's experimental drama Love and Information, running April 19 -30 in the Randall Theater at Temple University. Twin interpretations, presented in rotating repertory, are directed by Liz Carlson and Noah Herman, who each provide their unique perspective on contemporary humanity.

People's Light leads a cohort of six professional area theatres in expanding the availability of Relaxed Performances (RPs) in the region. The six-member cohort - Delaware Theatre Company, McCarter Theatre Center, Montgomery Theater, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, People's Light, and Theatre Horizon - will address accessibility and inclusivity needs by offering 10-12 Relaxed Performances over the next two years.
