by Courtnie Mele - Mar 30, 2014

The award-winning Langley High School theatre department will present its spring production, Lillian Hellman's 1934 play, The Children's Hour. When their disciplinary actions against troublesome student, Mary Tilford, upset her, the bratty child runs away to her influential grandmother. Constructing a lie that Karen and Martha were seen having an affair, Mary's action soon becomes more than just a simple fib, causing parents to withdraw their children from the school and the owners to question what went wrong as the women's lives are shattered.
