Sarah Utterback and Jessica Pimentel Join SURFER GIRL

Animus Theatre Company (Jonathan Judge-Russo, Founding Artistic Director), are thrilled to welcome Sarah Utterback of ABC's hit primetime TV drama Grey's Anatomy and Jessica Pimentel of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black to the New York premiere of Surfer Girl, part of Leslye Headland's Sin Cycle Plays. Presented at The Foley Gallery (59 Orchard Street, between Grand and Hester) on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at7:00pm (doors open 7:00pm, performance begins 7:30pm), the New York premiere of Surfer Girlruns through May 30, 2018.

Elevator Repair Service Theater Announces 2018 Spring Gala Hosted by Jon Glaser

On May 14th, 2018, actor and comedian Jon Glaser (Late Night with Conan O'Brien, truTV's Jon Glaser Loves Gear) will host a star-studded gala, celebrating the Obie-Award winning theater ensemble, Elevator Repair Service. Under the direction of founding Artistic Director John Collins, Elevator Repair Service is known for creating original works of theater with an ongoing ensemble of actors and designers. Gatz, their verbatim staging of "The Great Gatsby," was called "the most remarkable achievement in theater of this decade" by The New York Times.

Chichester Festival Theatre Announces Casting Update For THE COUNTRY WIFE, THE MEETING, and ME AND MY GIRL

Further casting is announced today for Festival 2018 at Chichester Festival Theatre. Clive Rowe joins Matt Lucas, Caroline Quentin and Alex Young to lead the cast of the musical ME AND MY GIRL, which Daniel Evans directs at the Festival Theatre from 2 July - 25 August. Clive will play Sir John Tremayne, returning to Chichester following his appearance in Kiss Me Kate in 2012 which later transferred to The Old Vic.

WASTE LAND, THREAT, and THE COLUMBINE PROJECT Are All Back This Weekend

Waste Land is a WORLD PREMIERE serio-comedy period piece by legendary playwright Don Nigro that explores the tumultuous love between T.S. Eliot and his first wife, Vivienne during the time leading up to his creation of one of the most influential poems of the twentieth century. Full of literary references, musings about art and creativity, and appearances by recognized modernist characters like Ezra Pound, James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, Gertrude Stein and Bertrand Russell, Waste Land is a funny and moving investigation of Eliot's life, loves, friendships and torments.

Phillip James Brannon, Cindy Cheung, and More Join Jesse Tyler Ferguson in LOG CABIN

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced complete casting for LOG CABIN, the world premiere of a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison (Marjorie Prime, Maple and Vine, Doris to Darlene at Playwrights; "Orange Is the New Black"). Directed by Tony Award and Obie Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park, The Qualms at Playwrights; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Parisian Woman), LOG CABIN will be the sixth and final production of the theater company's current 2017/2018 Season.

Ann Hamilton & SITI Company's THE THEATER IS A BLANK PAGE Opens 4/28

UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) presents the return of New York-based SITI Company in the West Coast premiere of the theater is a blank page, a much-heralded collaboration with celebrated visual artist Ann Hamilton. The site-specific performance and interdisciplinary installation, which blends elements of theater, visual art and literature, will run from Saturday, April 28 to Saturday, May 12 at Royce Hall. Laura Dreyfuss, Kathleen Chalfant, and Geneva Carr Join Benefit Reading of New Play JANE BURGOYNE

Dear Evan Hansen's Laura Dreyfuss and Tony-nominated actresses Kathleen Chalfant and Geneva Carr join National New Play Network (NNPN) for a 20th Anniversary benefit reading of a new play Jane Burgoyne by Robert Moulthrop, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, at Westside Theatre on April 30th at 7:00 pm. Hosted by Richard Winkler and Jane and JB Harrison, the reading will support NNPN as it continues to revolutionize the new play landscape through its nationally recognized programs and services for artists and organizations. Victory Gardens Theater continues its 43rd season with the World Premiere of Lettie, written by Boo Killebrew and directed by Artistic Director Chay Yew. Lettie runs April 6 - May 6, 2018, with the press performance on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 7:30pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

Sharon Small To Star In UK Tour Of STILL ALICE

Michael Park announces that, following a hugely successful three-week run at West Yorkshire Playhouse earlier this year, Christine Mary Dunford's newly adapted version of Lisa Genova's best-selling novel, STILL ALICE, will tour the UK from September 2018, directed by David Grindley and starring Sharon Small as Alice. The tour will open at the Sheffield Lyceum from 12 to 15 September and will play Richmond Theatre from 18 to 22 September, King's Theatre Edinburgh from 25 to 29 September, Norwich Theatre Royal from 2 to 6 October the Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford from 9 to 13 October and Festival Theatre, Malvern from 20 to 24 November. Further venues and casting are to be announced.

Joan La Barbara Presents Compositions At The Met Museum This Friday

Composer and performer Joan La Barbara has been mining the life and work of Joseph Cornell for many years. In this free with Museum admission performance she presents selections from her epic song cycle 'The Wanderlusting of Joseph C.' along with 'Windows' and 'Habite par ses reves et les phantasms.'

Undermain Theatre Announces 2018/19 Season

For its 35th season Undermain celebrates its past, its future, and its present with two world premieres, a rarely seen world classic, and a celebratory reboot of a recent gem from the Undermain repertoire. The two world premieres bridge new American work from an eminent playwright to an important, emerging playwright, the classic presents a Dallas premiere by 'the father of realism,' the Undermain in rep series contemplates the Undermain's recent achievements, and our second Whither Goest Thou America: A Festival of New American Play Readings looks to the future.
