Saint Michael's Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the June 21 opening of the Playhouse's 2016 summer theater season with the five-time Tony-nominated musical Sister Act, the sparkling smash hit musical comedy that the New York Post called 'ridiculously fun.'

The Palm Springs Cultural Center and Musical Theatre University (MTU) are teaming up this year to create a brand new holiday show - White Christmas - A Palm Springs Holiday Spectacular. 'This is a perfect way to celebrate the holidays with the whole family,' said David Green, Founder of Musical Theatre University. 'We plan to screen the holiday classic, White Christmas, at the Camelot Theatres, and combine the screening with a live thirty minute fully staged holiday production featuring the kids from Musical Theatre University.' This is the first time any theatre in The Inland Empire has combined a live theatrical event with a motion picture screening. And as an added treat -- it will actually SNOW in the theatre!

The ensemble includes Eugenio Contenti, Shelby Davis, Danielle Diniz, Antoinette DiPietropolo, Ian Frazier, Christopher Holloway, Kate Kramitz, Kevin Metzger, Vincent Ortega, and Chelsey Whitelock.

The Gateway Playhouse's production of A Chorus Line begins performances September 16th on Long Island, in Bellport, NY.

Joe Piscopo, Harris Doran, and Nell Mooney star in Gateway Playhouse's DIRTY ROTTTEN SCOUNDRELS. The production runs August 26 through September 12.

Blue Balls: The Story the NYPD Hoped Wouldn't Be Told, will play as part of the 10th Annual New York International Fringe Festival, at The Flea Theater (41 White Street in Tribeca) from August 11th through August 25th
