The State Theatre in Easton has added 8 new shows to the 2011 Season.

PINKALICIOUS, THE MUSICAL will continue Saturdays and Sundays through December 5th at 1pm at The Theatre at Saint Peter's (home of the York Theatre Company). The show is appropriate for children ages 2 to 10. Tickets are $29.50 for regular seats or $49.50 for premium seats and can be purchased by visiting www.pinkaliciousthemusical.com or by calling (212) 579-0528. The Theatre at Saint Peter's is located at 619 Lexington Avenue, (enter at 54th Street in the Citicorp Center) in Manhattan.

Bruce Degen, illustrator of the Magic School Bus series, will join Alyssa Capucilli, author of the Biscuit series, and dozens more children's book authors and illustrators at Celebrate Children's Book Day, a one-day gala devoted to children's literature and filled with readings, demonstrations, magic, music, and book signings at Washington Irving's Sunnyside on Sunday, Sept. 19.
