Five fabulous artists-familiar faces and Broadway headliners-will fill the intimate Head Theater Cabaret at CENTERSTAGE with a wide array of musical styles this season. Kicking off the Cabaret Series-and the first performance of the 2010-11 Season-is legendary performer KT Sullivan, September 16 through 19.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed repertory theatre company, launches 2010-11 season, its 19th, with Shakespeare's stirring classic Measure for Measure directed by Michael Murray, which opens Saturday, September 25 and closes Sunday, December 5, 2010 (previews begin Saturday, September 18).

New Village Arts Theatre and Moonlight Cultural Foundation are teaming up to bring Shakespeare in the Park back to North County San Diego. Shakespeare's romantic comedy AS YOU LIKE IT will be set in 1969 New Orleans, with the Forest of Arden located in the bayou outside of the city.

The cast has been selected, the designers are prepping, the shops are buzzing, and rehearsals start this week for The Wiz! Yesterday evening, August 23, the Times Talk hosted a Q&A and discussion with the ANYTHING GOES team, two-time Tony Award-winning director Kathleen Marshall and Tony-winning star Sutton Foster at The Times Center. Next Spring, Roundabout Theatre Company will present a new Broadway production of ANYTHING GOES, starring Foster as 'Reno Sweeney.' Directed & choreographed by Marshall, ANYTHING GOES will begin performances March 10th, 2011 and officially open on April 7th, 2011 on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Chautauqua Theater Company (CTC) Artistic Directors Vivienne Benesch and Ethan McSweeny today announced the final production of the 2010 season: William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Directed by CTC veteran Andrew Borba and featuring CTC's full complement of 14 Conservatory members, Macbeth opens on August 13 and runs through August 21.

Two Pence Shakespeare presents their inaugural production, William Shakespeare's 'The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet,' set between the two world wars in Italy, exploring the realities of life after combat. Civil unrest is only the symptom of a society dealing with the effects of war, and Verona is populated by young men recently returned home, experiencing fear, loss, grief ... and the unexpected deliverance of love. As modern day America continues to welcome home returning veterans, this production follows me, trained in the art of war, settling into an uneasy peace with their friends and family already suffering from the post-war economy. How can two young people hope to find peace with each other amidst so much chaos and pain? 'The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet' runs about two hours with one intermission.

As Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) finishes the run of its acclaimed world-premiere family musical The Emperor's New Clothes this month, it looks forward to the season ahead. Wolfe, which will begin performances Thursday, October 21 at 8pm at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Opening night is Thursday, November 18 at 6:45pm.
