Cast Set for New England Premiere of DIASTER! THE MUSICAL

Full casting has been announced for the New England premiere of DISASTER! THE MUSICAL; the 1970's disaster-movie musical written by Sirius/XM On Broadway host, Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick (Glee, Ellen, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). One of the first mountings of this production since the show's 2016 Broadway run, Cast Aside Productions will be bringing DISASTER! to the Mainstage at Portland Stage Company, July 13-16.

Named for local Broadway star Tom Wopat, the Tommy Awards Program at Overture Center for the Arts encourages, recognizes and honors excellence in high school musical theater each year and culminates in an annual awards show in Overture Hall. The 8th Annual Awards Tommy Awards Show will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 and will go on sale to the public Monday, May 22 at 11 a.m.

Here they go again! Additional casting has been announced for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Mamma Mia!, Friday, July 28, at 8 PM, Saturday, July 29, at 8 PM and Sunday, July 30, at 7:30 PM. The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the Globe-commissioned world premiere adaptation of The Imaginary Invalid written by Moliere and reinvented by the acclaimed theatre group Fiasco Theater. The Public Theater announced complete casting today for HAMLET, featuring Golden Globe Award winner Oscar Isaac as the tormented Danish Prince.
