The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) will begin previews for the MOBILE UNIT's production of Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM on Sunday, October 28. Directed by Jenny Koons, the free sit-down run of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM follows a three-week tour to five boroughs bringing Shakespeare to audiences who have limited or no access to the arts. A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM will run through Saturday, November 17 with an official press opening on Friday, November 2.

Maplewood thespian turned producer has caught the bug! Late June, Gregory Omar Osborne produced a rousing production of FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE. It was a successful first for Osborne, with ticket sales at 70% over a four show weekend. Less than six months after closing FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE Osborne will present the world premiere of A PARK AVENUE CHRISTMAS written by Ed Dickson at The Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts, December 20th - 23rd, 2018, in Maplewood, NJ.

Invictus Theatre, a theater company that emerged in November 2017 with an intimate production of OTHELLO, has announced cast and crew for its second production: Shakespeare's comedy LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST. The comedy will be performed at The Frontier, 1106 W. Thorndale Ave., Chicago from October 24 - November 18, 2018, with a press opening on Monday, October 29. The Old Globe today announced the 2019 Summer Shakespeare Festival lineup, which will include two of Shakespeare's best-loved plays: the romantic comedy As You Like It, directed by Jessica Stone, will run June 16 - July 21, and love-filled tragedy Romeo and Juliet, directed by the Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, August 11 - September 15. Both will play outdoors under the stars in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) opens its 45th Winter Mainstage Season with the four-time Tony Award-winning musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. Called "A true tour de force" by The New York Times, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder follows Monty Navarro, a lowly born Englishman who suddenly discovers he is eighth in succession to become the Earl of Highurst, and is determined to gain the title…by any means necessary. This critically-acclaimed, knock 'em dead musical, with Book and Lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and Music and Lyrics by Steve Lutvak, will run starting November 7 in FST's Gompertz Theatre.
