Ann Hampton Callaway and Dr. Art Topilow to Bring OVER THE RAINBOW to APAC

'Dr. Jazz' as the famous oncologist (Dr. Arthur Topilow) from Jersey Shore Medical Center is known will be accompanying one of the world's most celebrated jazz vocalists Ann Hampton Callaway in an all-Arlen concert on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 3 p.m. at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC).

For four nights this April, four extraordinary actors will join renowned opera and concert conductor Harry Bicket, Europe's most celebrated Baroque orchestra The English Concert, the glorious Erebus Ensemble and four giants of classical music Julia Doyle, Catherine Wyn-Rogers, Joshua Ellicott and Brindley Sherratt for four one-off stagings of Handel's masterpiece, Messiah. 

Playwrights, Creatives Announced for F*It Club's THE SPRING FLING: REBOUND at IRT Theater

F*It Club, the New York Innovative Award-winning film and theatre company, continues its annual series of short, commissioned world-premiere plays at the IRT Theater as part of their 3B Development Series in Manhattan's West Village with The Spring Fling: Rebound, seven new short plays by Ngozi Anyanwu (Good Grief), Lucy Boyle (The Blue Deep), Liza Birkenmeier (Radio Island), Ryan King (Burying Augustus), Dan Moyer (Half Moon Bay), Matthew Paul Olmos (So Go The Ghosts of Mexico), and Leah Nanako Winkler (Kentucky).

Irish Rep to Stage World Premiere of Larry Kirwan's REBEL IN THE SOUL

Irish Repertory Theatre will present the world premiere of REBEL IN THE SOUL, a new play by Larry Kirwan (Liverpool Fantasy). Directed by Charlotte Moore (Finian's Rainbow), REBEL IN THE SOUL begins performances on April 12, 2017 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) in the W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre and officially opens on April 18, running through May 24, 2017.

Theater To Go Takes on Racial Injustice and Acts of Courage in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

It's a coming of age story set against a backdrop of racism and small town secrets. Theater to Go presents "To Kill a Mockingbird" at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre Fridays, March 17 and 24 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, March 18 and 25 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, March 19 and 26 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on MCCC's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on March 17.

Miranda Hart To Make West End Stage Debut As Miss Hannigan In ANNIE

Multi award-winning comedy writer, actor and author Miranda Hart, will make her West End Theatre debut as Miss Hannigan in Annie opening in the West End in May 2017.  Previews at the Piccadilly Theatre will begin on 23 May 2017 with opening night on 5 June 2017.
