Pioneer Theatre Company presents Slow Food, the second installment of PTC's new play reading series, called Play-By-Play. Slow Food by Wendy MacLeod runs March 6 and 7, 2015. Director Julie Kramer (True Art, Play-By-Play 2014) returns to directs the production.

Rising Phoenix Rep and Kid Brooklyn Productions have announced their first collaboration, The Beach Plays, a production of five newly commissioned short plays written to be performed on San Francisco's Ocean Beach. The plays will be fully produced and presented environmentally, with audiences gathering in front of the gift shop at The Cliff House at 1090 Point Lobos Ave, San Francisco, Calif., and traveling to and through the plays on foot.

This summer, BroadwayWorld.com introduced it's first, exclusive, fully scripted program series - SUBMISSIONS ONLY, created, written, and directed by Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger. Lake Water, which features Troy Deutsch and Samantha Soule in the cast, is scheduled to open Thursday, September 22, at 8pm.

The new Ohio's fall season features two past IRT artists -- Erica Fae and Human Animals -- and more collaboration is expected to come. There will be an Open House bash next Friday, September 23.

This summer, the students in Site-Specific Directing at Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA) have staged theatre all over New York City: from Shakespeare in Central Park to Chekhov on the Staten Island Ferry. The directors concluded their class this week by fully producing five new short plays in and under the High Line Park in Manhattan.

This spring, the students in Site-Specific Directing at Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA) have staged theatre all over New York City: from Shakespeare in Central Park and on the High Line to Chekhov in the Russian and Turkish Baths to Sarah Kane on rooftops, libraries, and street corners. The directors concluded their class this week by fully producing eight new short plays by a group of incredible writers in and around the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn.

The 2008 A. N. T. festival kicked off Wednesday October 15th at 7pm with an invited press launch and industry presentation featuring performances from select A.N.T. FEST artists.
