During the event, world-renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Keith L. Black M.D., Chairman and Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, will be presented with the 'Healing & Hope Award.'

Tomorrow, December 7th, Museum of the City of New York will ceremonially unveil their newly restored historic nickel bronze statues of two legendary New Yorkers, Alexander Hamilton and Dewitt Clinton, designed three quarters of a century ago for the Museum by noted sculptor Adolph Alexander Weinman (1870-1952). For the occasion, the Museum will be joined by three stars of the immensely popular Broadway show, Hamilton: Jevon McFerrin, Lexi Lawson, and Anthony Lee Medina.

The Academy of United States Veterans and Coalition to Salute America's Heroes today announce the five 2018 Veteran Awards Honorees consisting of individuals and organizations who have demonstrated relentless dedication and selfless service to the veteran community and their families. A sixth Veteran's Choice Award will be presented to an individual on site. Honorees will be presented with a coveted Vetty statuette, a custom-designed bronzed military boot placed on a sturdy base that signifies the boots on the ground work of the Veterans Service Organizations. LGBTQ Church In PB Gardens Observes World AIDS Day With Artist/Activist Mary Fisher

During the holiday season, many people flock to church to find solace, seek forgiveness, practice introspection, and soak up lessons on how to live their lives. Something about this time of year encourages all of us to examine how we have conducted ourselves the previous 11 months. Theatre has been my church for a long time now, and luckily The Sacramento Theatre Company is there to give me periodic reminders of the values that are important to keep close.
