This morning, producers of the 48TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS participated in a press conference call to announce several exciting moments on this year's show, to be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 7 (8:00-11:00 PM live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Participating in the call were R.A. Clark, Executive Producer and son of the late Dick Clark, Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy of Country Music and Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President, CBS Specials and Live Programming.

Jewel will partner with ACM Lifting Lives to perform a live mash-up of her chart-topping hit “Hands” combined with “Fill a Heart,” an original song written by singer-songwriter Tori Kelly, in a special musical moment presented by ConAgra Foods' Child Hunger Ends Here program. This performance will take place during the 48th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, April 7 (8:00-11:00PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Adrian Grenier today announced WreckroomTX - three days of live music showcases he personally curated to take place next week in Austin, Texas during South By Southwest 2013. Wreckroom is a music space in Grenier's home in Brooklyn, NY created to give up and coming bands the opportunity to write, record, and perform in a creative environment.
'IDOL' WATCH: Denver Auditions

The 'American Idol' auditions made their last stop tonight, visiting Denver, the home to one of the biggest rock stars to come from 'Idol,' Daughtry. Since season five when Daughtry appeared on the show, the number of auditions to be the next 'American Idol' more than doubled, bringing the total number of contestants in Denver to over 9,000. Guest judge Victoria Beckham was back on the judging panel, bookending the auditions after joining the show on its first stop in Boston.
