Every night the cast of Showstopper! The Improvised Musical pull off something incredibly ambitious; they create a real musical from scratch, not just an improv night with songs but a full story with characters you can care about, a live band of incredible musicians, and seamless choreography.
5 p.m.Following a 10-week engagement wowing audiences and critics alike in the first-ever season for an improvised musical in the West End, the run of SHOWSTOPPER! THE IMPROVISED MUSICAL is being extended, with a transfer to the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue. Set during the eight years of an Obama administration, when idealism and forgiveness may not be all they seem, the play opens at The Arts Theatre in January 2013. American Justice has won plaudits from critics and audiences alike throughout the UK. Lisa Forrell will direct a new version of the play for the West End premiere.
