The Tony Awards are now less than a month away, and I've really been enjoying revisiting memories, cast albums, and even shows themselves since the nominations were announced! A few days ago I posted my thoughts on the Best Score, Book, Musicals and Plays. Today, here are my feelings in the acting categories.

Irish Repertory Theatre celebrates its award-winning 25th Anniversary Season with SOMETHING WONDERFUL! THE SONGS OF Rodgers & Hammerstein, an evening celebrating classic Rodgers and Hammerstein hits performed by a galaxy of Broadway stars, for one night only, Monday, June 10 at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). Shirley Jones, best known for her roles in 'Oklahoma!' and 'Carousel,' returns to Broadway in the gala evening, directed by Charlotte Moore and hosted by Tom Hanks.
Hershey Felder to Star in MAESTRO: LEONARD BERNSTEIN at Cleveland Play House

Cleveland Play House proudly presents a live summer production of Hershey Felder in Maestro: Leonard Bernstein, in the Allen Theatre at PlayhouseSquare. Mr. Felder has previously awed Cleveland audiences with his creations of Beethoven As I Knew Him, Monsieur Chopin, George Gershwin Alone, and The Great American Songbook. Maestro: Leonard Bernstein, a play with music, will run in the Allen Theatre at PlayhouseSquare starting Wednesday July 17 through Sunday, August 4, 2013. Vance, Anika Noni Rose, Ben Vereen, Christine Lahti, Tony Sheldon, Lea Salonga, Isabel Keating, Phillip Boykin, Jessie Mueller, Jackie Hoffman, Wesley Taylor, Patricia Elliott, Meg Bussert, Crystal A. Dickinson, with special guest Nathan Lane, have been announced as presenters and performers at the 69th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony on Monday evening, June 3, 2013 beginning at 6:45 p.m. at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), home of the current Broadway revival of Pippin. Mother and daughter, Rosemary Harris and Jennifer Ehle, both Theatre World Award Alumni, are 2013 Honorary Co-Chairs.
