On Friday, April 28 at noon, there will be an admission-free staged reading of the one-hour version of A Year in the Trenches, followed by a Q&A, in the Mancini Room at the Ocean County Library, 101 Washington Street, Toms River, NJ.

Like last year, Fins Bar & Grille is helping local nonprofit organizations with its Social Sunday Events in February and March, and once again, the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company is pleased to be one of the recipients. ELTC, listed as one of the top 75 summer theaters in North America in "The New York Times," is having its Special Event on February 26 from 10:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m.

This is the tenth year in a row that Elizabeth and Stuart Hodes are hosting a fundraiser in Manhattan for the non-profit East Lynne Theater Company. The date is Sunday, January 29 at 3:00p.m.

Behrman, a playwright, screenwriter, and contributor to 'The New Yorker,' based the fascinating character of Marion on real-life painter and free-thinker, Neysa McMein. She also appears in Thomas Wolfe's 'You Can't Go Home Again,' thinly disguised under another pseudonym.

 For those who didn't have the opportunity to meet the cast and crew of East Lynne Theater Company's 'Biography' at the after-show party at Aleathea's Restaurant on September 21, another chance is to be had on Friday, October 7 at an after-show Q&A.  It's a wonderful opportunity for patrons to ask the actors and director such questions as 'why do they do what they do?' and 'how do they do it?'

On Today, May 5 at 4:00p.m., 25 students, mostly fifth graders, will perform 'Hamlet.' Featured, is the famous 'To Be or Not To Be' speech spoken in English and Spanish. After the performance, students and parents will dine in the school cafeteria.
