East Lynne Theater Company Announces Its 2010 Season, Kicks Off 6/16

The Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company, the recent recipient of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance's Achievement of Excellence Award for '30 years of celebrating America's heritage through productions and educational programs,' has its usual season filled with music, a radio show, classic gems and a world premiere. To celebrate ELTC's 30th birthday, the shows are a blend of old favorites and new discoveries.

Act II Producing Artistic Director Bud Martin directs this classic American comedy/drama that is every bit as touching, warm, and witty today as when it debuted on Broadway in 1979.

Shirley Stiles, Winner Of 'Walk-on part' Prize, To Appear On Stage In THE RANSOM OF RED CHIEF 9/4

In November, East Lynne Theater Company has its annual gala, and last year, among the auction items, was a 'walk-on part in 'The Ransom of Red Chief.' Long-time Cape May resident Shirley Stiles won the prize, and on Friday, September 4, will appear, in costume, onstage in this comedy based on O. Henry's famous story about two people who find kidnapping more difficult than they thought it would be.

East Lynne Theater Company Presents an ASL performance of RANSOM OF RED CHIEF 8/28

On Friday, Aug. 28 at 8:30p.m., there will be an American Sign Language Interpretation of the charmingly delightful 'The Ransom of Red Chief' produced by East Lynne Theater Company, recently voted one of the Top Two Equity theaters in the state in the Discover Jersey Arts' 'People's Choice Awards.'

Dutch Television Personality Set To Perform with The East Lynne Theater Company

Come and see the trial of Johan van Buren, accused of murdering a Swede named Niels Holgerson on July 4, 1654. The trial, being presided over by the Right Honorable Frank Visser, on the authority of the States General of the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands, by commission of the Governor-General Peter Stuyvesant.
