The casting of new key characters continues as Book 3 of OUTLANDER films in Scotland. Starz, in association with Sony Pictures Television, announced today that Hannah James and Tanya Reynolds will play the Dunsany sisters 'Geneva' and 'Isobel,' respectively.

David Kajganich (True Story, A Bigger Splash) and Soo Hugh (The Whispers, The Killing) are serving as executive producers, writers and co-showrunners with Scott Free, Emjag Productions and Entertainment 360 producing the series in association with AMC Studios. Production begins this winter in Budapest with the 10 one-hour episodes, set to premiere in 2017.

The Almeida Theatre announces the cast for the world premiere of Boy, a new play by Leo Butler, directed by Sacha Wares. The cast is Mohammad Amiri, Osmain Baig, Ruby Bridle, Emilio Doorgasingh, Terina Drayton, Aeran Fitzgerald, Frankie Fox, Ellie Mai Gallagher, Bayleigh Gray, Zainab Hasan, Duramaney Kamara, Asiatu Koroma, Wendy Kweh, Lev Litvinov, Georgie Lord, Angel Loren, Teann McDonnell, Eugenie-Alexia Mulumba, Sarah Niles, Demi Papaminas, Imogen Roberts, Abdul Salis, Morgane Tapia,Peter Temple and Matthew Wellard. Boy will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 April until 28 May, with a Press Night on 12 April.

Sacha Wares will be returning to Almeida Theatre to direct the world premiere of Leo Butler's new play Boy, after her directorial success with the critically acclaimed production, Game, by Mike Bartlett, in 2015.  Boy will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 April until 28 May 2016, with press night on 12 April 2016. Director Sacha Wares is joined by a formidable creative team, including two powerhouse contemporary designers, Miriam Buether for set design (Wild Swans, Sucker Punch, My Child, Generations), who worked with Sacha on Game at the Almeida in 2015, and Ultz for costume (Jerusalem, Hobson's Choice, Fallout, Pied Pier), who will be collaborating with Miriam, on design, for the very first time. Further creative credits include movement by Leon Baugh, lighting by Jack Knowles and sound by Gareth Fry.

Tonight's the night! As of this evening, the 2016 awards season officially begins with the Golden Globes, honoring excellence in film and television.

Jessica Brown Findlay (Sonya), Vanessa Kirby (Elena), Richard Lumsden (Telegin), Hilton McRae (Serebryakov), Tobias Menzies (Astrov) and Ann Queensberry (Nanny) join the previously announced Paul Rhys (Vanya) in Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, a new version created by and directed by Associate Director, Robert Icke, at the Almeida Theatre. Running from 5 February until 26 March 2016, with press night on 12 February, Uncle Vanya is Icke's next production following the critically acclaimed Oresteia, which ran at the Almeida Theatre, transferred to the West End, and recently won him the Evening Standard Award for Best Director.

According to the Daily Mail, Vanessa Kirby, who will soon be seen in Netflix's THE CROWN, has signed on to play 'Yelena' in UNCLE VANYA at the Almeida Theatre. DOWNTON ABBEY's Jessica Brown Findlay will take on the role of her step-daughter, 'Sonya', in the production.

Principal photography is underway on the latest installment of Screen Gems/Lakeshore Entertainment's blockbuster UNDERWORLD series, which has grossed nearly $500 million worldwide.

A company of more than 60 artists will bring The Iliad to life in a durational reading on Friday 14 August. The reading will begin at the British Museum and culminate on the Almeida stage. The marathon reading is the latest event in the theatre's Almeida Greeks Festival which has so far seen Robert Icke's critically acclaimed production of Oresteia transfer to Trafalgar Studios in the West End and James Macdonald's production of Bakkhai play to sold out houses at the Almeida.
