Aiken, Cumming et al. to Perform at BROADWAY BACKWARDS 6

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (the Center) announced today that BROADWAY BACKWARDS 6, the only Broadway event custom-made for the gay and lesbian community, its friends and families, will feature 'American Idol' runner-up Clay Aiken (Spamalot) and Tony winners Alan Cumming (Cabaret and CBS's 'The Good Wife') and Denis O'Hare (Take Me Out and HBO's 'True Blood').

Levy, Chase, Baldwin et al. Lend Voices to 'Thirteen Stories Down' CD

Composer Jonathan Reid Gealt's music is captured on his debut CD, Thirteen Stories Down,' by some of Broadway's brightest young stars, including Caissie Levy (Hair), Adam Chanler-Berat (Next to Normal), Tituss Burgess (Jersey Boys), Natalie Weiss (American Idol), Will Chase (Rent), Kate Baldwin (Finian's Rainbow), Lauren Kennedy (Spamalot), Capathia Jenkins and the Broadway Inspirational Voices, and more! The album, produced by Joel Moss and Lynne Shankel and featuring musical direction and arrangements by Shankel, will be released later this month and available for shipping on December 28. Pre-orders are being accepted on the Sh-K-Boom website.

Broadway Star Tituss Burgess will join Daniel Reichard for Reichard's annual Christmas show. Burgess was the star of such shows as The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls, Jersey Boys and Good Vibrations. The two actors have a long-term professional association and frequently appear in concert together. Daniel Reichard, original star of Broadway's 'Jersey Boys' and the recent New York City Opera revival of 'Candide,' will return to the New York stage on December 10th at 9 P.M. at the Triad Theater for his annual Christmas concert.
