It has been announced that MTC's production of TO BE OR NOT TO BE will play its final performance on November 16th, 2008. November 16th, 2008 is the end of Manhattan Theater Club's subscription run. They had previously been offering tickets through November 23rd, 2008, but will now be canceling that week of performances. Patrons who have purchased tickets for performances through November 23rd, 2008 should return to their point of purchase for a refund.

The Lark Play Development Center has announced the selected playwrights for the 2008-09 Playwrights' Workshop Fellows 2008. This year's writers include Thomas Bradshaw (Southern Promises), Samuel D. Hunter (Lark's 2008 PONY Fellow), Lisa Kron (Well), Deirdre O'Connor (Hero), and Playwright-in-Residence Arthur Kopit (Lark Playwright Advisor).
Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg's Our Mother's Brief Affair will receive its World Premiere at South Coast Repertory as part of the theater's 12th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. Commissioned by SCR and directed by Pam MacKinnon, Our Mother's Brief Affair will run April 3 through May 3, 2009 on the Segerstrom Stage.
