The American Theatre Wing announced today that the recipients of the 2014 Jonathan Larson Grants are writing team Sara Cooper (lyricist/bookwriter) & Zach Redler (composer), receiving $12,500 and the Running Deer Residency; and Shaina Taub (composer/lyricist), receiving $12,500. The prestigious grants, totaling $15,000 more than last year's grants, will be presented on Monday, April 7, 2014 at a private event at the WNYC Greene Space. The event will feature special performances of the recipients' work.

Our resident 'Gay Man' sex expert, Dan (Jason Michael Snow) will provide some titillating tips that are sure to heat up any cold spell. Offer valid for straight and gay couples for the performance on Friday, February 14th at 10pm. Six month period without sex must include both parties without limitation ('nothing on the side -- even the pizza delivery guy'). Applications are now being accepted for the January 2014 installment of the triannual CAP21 Writers Residency , focusing on new musicals. The CAP21 Writers Residency is offered by CAP21 as an opportunity for a concentrated time and place to be artistically productive in a focused atmosphere while remaining in NYC . It will take place for a 12 week period ( Jan 6th 17 ) depending on the needs of the writers. During the length of the residency, selected writing teams are provided a beautiful studio space at CAP21 in New York City , complete with a piano and wireless internet , between the hours of 10am and 6pm , Monday through Friday .
