The full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Forever Dusty, a new musical about the life and times of legendary icon Dusty Springfield, by Kirsten Holly Smith and Jonathan Vankin, has been announced. Directed by Randal Myler (Love, Janis; It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues), performances will begin November 11, 2012 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), with an official Opening Night set for Sunday, November 18, 2012.

Back by popular demand to the Broadway at Birdland concert series, William Blake performed an encore of his show "Echoes of Etta," a musical tribute to Etta James, on Monday, August 20th. L!VE Asbury Park presents Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Chris Hall (Hedwig) and Kendal Hartse (Yitzhak) have signed on as the leads along side musicians Michael Thomas Murray, Mike Preen and Steve Kelly. Hedwig will run tonight, June 21 and June 22 & 23rd for five live performances at The Press Room, located at 610 Bangs Avenue in downtown Asbury Park.

The band included Michael Thomas Murray on piano and Fender Rhodes, Oscar Bautista on guitar, Mike Preen on bass, Steve Kelly on drums, Matthew Polashek on sax. 'The Peaches' included Shira Elias, Ashley Betton and Stephany Mora.
