Theater Wit has announced it will present a special encore presentation this summer of its critically acclaimed 2007 smash hit Thom Pain (based on nothing) by Will Eno.
"How this lord is followed!" exclaims a Painter in reference to Timon of Athens early in Act I of the play that bears his name. Director Charles Pasternak interprets the line quite literally by having his throng of greedy hangers-on trail behind Timon as he moves about the stage, billowing en masse like a bridal gown's train that sweeps and glides with every turn.

The new cast will include Ralf Little (The Royle Family), Simon Day (The Fast Show), Angela Thorne (To the Manor Born) and Olivier Award winning actors John Gordon Sinclair (She Loves Me and classic film Gregory's Girl) and Con O'Neill (Blood Brothers and Telstar). Chris McCalphy will reprise his role as One Round following the show's recent UK tour.

The Flea Theater will continue it's tradition of late-night offerings with The Shakes: Romeo and Juliet. Five teams of actors helmed by five Flea Resident Directors each perform an act from Shakespeare's most tragic love story. Cast from The Flea resident acting company, The Bats, Romeo and Juliet follows the inaugural Shakes, The Honest Whore by Thomas Dekker and Thomas Middleton. The Shakes: Romeo and Juliet will be performed in one-act installments until the play is complete.
