Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that Kate Burton, Boyd Gaines, Bobby Steggert and Brenda Wehle will comprise the four character cast of its world premiere production of A. R. Gurney's new play, THE GRAND MANNER.

Now in its third year at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre IN THE HEIGHTS stars Corbin Bleu, Andréa Burns, Janet Dacal, David Del Rio, Marcy Harriell, Christopher Jackson, Priscilla Lopez, Olga Merediz, Rick Négron, Courtney Reed and William B. Wingfield leading a cast of 28 that features Tony Chiroldes, Dwayne Clark, Rosie Lani Fiedelman, Ruben Flores, Marcus Paul James, Nina Lafarga, Jennifer Locke, Doreen Montalvo, Gabrielle Ruiz, Luis Salgado, Kevin Santos, Rickey Tripp, Michael Balderrama, Blanca Camacho, Stephanie Klemons, Allison Thomas Lee, Alejandra Reyes, Jon Rua and Marcos Santana.

I promise you that I wanted to love IN THE HEIGHTS. A few minutes into the show, I would have settled for just not disliking it. I am here to report that despite winning the Tony Award for Best Musical, IN THE HEIGHTS never reaches the heights it sets out for.

Marin Hinkle, David Gelles Hurwitz, Brian Kerwin, Polly Lee and Matt McGrath will be featured in LCT3's upcoming production of GRACELAND, a new play by Ellen Fairey, directed by Henry Wishcamper. This New York premiere will begin performances, Monday, May 3, open on Monday, May 17 at 6:45pm and run through Saturday, May 29 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project (229 West 42 Street).

Corbin Bleu, currently starring as Usnavi in the Tony and Grammy Award winning musical IN THE HEIGHTS, will be a guest on the nationally syndicated 'The Wendy Williams Show,' scheduled to air on Friday, February 26.

Patti LuPone, Jessica Biel, Sherie Rene Scott, Paulo Szot and Oscar Isaac are amongst the actors participating in a staged reading of the new musical 'Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown' at Lincoln Center Theatre next week, reports Variety. Rehearsals are set to begin March 4.

The cast of IN THE HEIGHTS came together to celebrate Corbin Bleu's official opening in the show with a party on Tuesday, February 23rd at Angus McIndoe.

On Friday February 26th and Saturday February 27th, Melanie Hopkins and Rob Shapiro present HE WHO LAUGHS LIVE, an evening of scenes and stories from Isaac Oliver's blog which chronicles his life as a gay playwright in New York, 'fighting off causticity daily, clinging to compassion and turns of phrase,' not to mention lots and lots of coffee.

IN THE HEIGHTS will play its final show at the PlayhouseSquare in Cleveland on Feb. 21.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) announced three productions that it will produce during the 2010-2011 season at the Vivian Beaumont Theater and on Broadway. The first, a musical version of the Pedro Almodóvar film WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN, with book by Jeffrey Lane, music and lyrics by David Yazbek and direction by Bartlett Sher, will begin previews Saturday, October 2 when it will reopen the newly restored Belasco Theatre (111 W. 44 Street). Opening night is Thursday, November 4.

Corbin Bleu recently visited Live With Regis and Kelly to talk about joining the cast of IN THE HEIGHTS on Broadway.

Red Elevator Productions' TOO LITTLE TOO LATE, an evening of original and premiere short plays, will close on February 14, 2010.
