54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, celebrates the July 4th weekend with '54 Sings 1776,' a celebration of the music from Broadway's Tony Award-winning Independence Day musical by Sherman Edwards. '54 Sings 1776' returns to 54 Below, for its second smash year, for four performances only: Sat. July 4 at 7PM and 9:30PM, and Sun. For the second production in their 44th annual season of professional summer theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the revolutionary musical "1776", by Peter Stone, with music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards. Performances of this fascinating, family-friendly show will run from June 17 - July 4 with evening performances at 7:30.  Matinees are available on June 19, 21, 24, 26, 28 and July 1 at 2:00 PM.  Tickets may be purchase by calling 800-427-6160 or by visiting the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland. Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org. Tickets are going fast, so CRT suggests calling early.

Single tickets for Arizona Theatre Company's 49th season go on sale in Phoenix beginning June 15.  All shows will be performed at the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe.

Jonathan Groff will reprise his Off-Broadway performance in HAMILTON as King George, opposite Lin-Manuel Miranda, Christopher Jackson, Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Anthony Ramos, Daveed Digs and Renee Elise Goldsberry who will follow the show to Broadway. Plus, the cast is getting a little bit bigger with some new additions to the ensemble.

The restored director's cut edition of the musical 1776 was just released on Blu-ray, and Tony-winning director Peter H. Hunt revealed to the Los Angeles Times the drama behind the original 1972 release of the film -- and just how much producer Jack L. Warner left out.

Chester Theatre Company will open its 26th season at the Town Hall in Chester, MA with the East Coast premiere of THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO THOMAS JEFFERSON, CHARLES DICKENS AND COUNT LEO TOLSTOY: DISCORD. This comedy of ideas, from Scott Carter, the Executive Producer of Real Time with Bill Maher, will run from June 24 through July 5.

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today the spring 2015 honorees recognizing theatre accomplishments by Minnesota students and schools participating in the 2014-15 SpotLight Musical Theatre Program culminating in the SpotLight Showcase Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15 at the State Theatre (805 Hennepin Ave., downtown Minneapolis). Now celebrating its Tenth Anniversary, SpotLight is the Trust's premier education initiative which supports and honors Minnesota high school musical theatre students and programs that produce annual musicals. Minnesota native, award-winning Broadway performer and former SpotLight participant, Laura Osnes, is the current SpotLight spokesperson.

OKLAHOMA! opens on Friday, July 17th , 2015, playing until Sunday, July 26th , and features an added mid-week matinee on July 22nd , at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.

The selections were made at the organization's 80th annual voting meeting, at the offices of Time Out New York in Manhattan.
