LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Set for Cabrillo Music Theatre, 4/23-5/2

A tuneful, funny musical score meets a giant man-eating plant when Cabrillo Music Theatre's production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS devours the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, with a hit movie and a Broadway revival to its credit, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS takes root on Friday, April 23rd, 2010, and blossoms until Sunday, May 2nd. Locally produced exclusively for Southern California audiences, performances take place at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.

Canadian Stage Announces Their 2010-2011 Season

Canadian Stage unveiled its highly anticipated 2010-2011 season today, marking the first season programmed by Artistic & General Director Matthew Jocelyn. The season heralds a bold, new direction for the company. Jocelyn seeks to redefine Canadian Stage as a centre for national and international multi-disciplinary theatre that pushes boundaries, adopts a 21st-century perspective and reflects Toronto's cultural diversity. The work will be driven by directors and auteurs at the forefront of contemporary theatre and audiences will have the opportunity to discover a new generation of story-tellers who challenge and entertain.

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE Comes To TUTS

Little House On The Prairie, The Musical, a new musical based on the beloved Laura Ingalls Wilder series of classic American books, will arrive on April 28, 2010 at the Hobby Center for Performing Arts presented by Theatre Under The Stars.

BWW Reviews: An Enchanting, Must-See Production of SOUTH PACIFIC

If you love Broadway musicals you must see the national tour of South Pacific currently running at the Hobby Center. Even if you have seen South Pacific before, or if you happen to not be a Rogers and Hammerstein fan, you need to see this show. The performances delivered by Rod Gilfry, as the French plantation owner Emile de Becque, and Carmen Cusack, as the loveable Navy nurse Nellie Forbush, are so remarkable they alone make this a must-see production for any Broadway fan who can appreciate a phenomenal performance of a quality score.

Lincoln Center Theater, in association with Bob Boyett and NETworks Presentations, presents a new production of Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein's prize-winning musical SOUTH PACIFIC, directed by Bartlett Sher.

Photo Flash: Tovah Feldshuh Stars in GOLDA'S BALCONY at The Globe, 4/28-5/30

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced that due to unforeseen conflicts with Roger Rees' schedule, The Old Globe's upcoming production of What You Will has been replaced with Golda's Balcony starring four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh. Written by William Gibson and supervised by Scott Schwartz, Golda's Balcony earned Feldshuh a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress, and is the longest running one-woman show in Broadway history. Golda's Balcony will run in the Old Globe Theatre April 28 - May 30.

DREAMGIRLS Opens at CTG/Ahmanson Theatre on March 2

A new, ground-breaking production of "Dreamgirls," directed and choreographed by Robert Longbottom, arrives at the CTG/Ahmanson Theatre, opening March 2, 2010, and playing through April 4. Previews begin February 25. (Opening was previously announced for February 26.)

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE Plays Fort Worth's Bass Performance Hall 6/8-13

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, THE MUSICAL, a new musical based on the beloved Laura Ingalls Wilder series of classic American books, will play June 8-13 at Bass Performance Hall. It is presented by Performing Arts Fort Worth and Casa Manana; single tickets are $30-$75 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 1.
