Port Jefferson's Theatre Three thrills Main Street once again with their 29th annual production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Now running through December 29th, this beautiful production and cast will surely get you into the Christmas spirit.
Amphibian Stage Productions today announced that it would present a Sunday matinee on December 2 of the staged reading of The Ding Dongs or What Is the Penalty in Portugal? by Brenda Withers, in addition to the originally scheduled Monday evening performance on December 3. All of the plays featured in the company's staged reading series in 2013 will also have two performances.
The Coterie will present Dominic Barnes & Curt Mega in the premiere of their brand new holiday concert November 30 and December 7. Known best as part of the male vocal group The Warblers from FOX's megahit TV show "GLEE", Barnes and Mega will offer an interactive, cabaret-style evening of all of your holiday favorites. Hosted by fellow "GLEE" Warbler Titus Makin Jr., with special guests Kimberly Whalen and Lauren Claire Chavez and musical direction by Alexander Georgakis. An Evening with Curt & Dom: Holiday Style! will take place Friday Nov. 30 and Friday Dec. 7 in The Coterie's home in Preston's Restaurant at the Loews Hollywood Hotel.

Aye, Matees! It is so exciting to see the world premiere of a show. I had this opportunity with the opening of Treasure Island, A Musical Adventure at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson, Long Island. This original two-act musical, based on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, has a book by Sherman Yellen, Music by Gary William Friedman, and lyrics by Will Holt -- all Tony nominees. Now playing through October 27th, this beautiful up-and-coming production, directed by Jeffrey Sanzel, is in fantastic shape thus far.

Dallas Theater Center kicks of its 2012-2013 season with the outrageous new comedy The Second City Does Dallas written specifically for Dallas by members of The Second City and directed by Matt Hovde. Theater for the New City & Crystal Field (Artistic Director) have announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of THE EDEN PROJECT, a new play devised by Stable Cable Lab Co., directed by Seth Hamlin, and choreographed by KC Luce as part of the 3rd annual Dream Up Festival. THE EDEN PROJECT will begin performances tonight, August 24, 2012 at Theater for the New City (155 First Ave. - between 10th & 11th Streets). The production is scheduled to run through September 1st.
