Il Divo Releases Broadway Song Album, A MUSICAL AFFAIR, Today

Il Divo, the record-breaking classical crossover group who has sold more than 26 million albums worldwide, is set to release their 6th studio album A Musical Affair, on Syco/Columbia Records today, November 5th. The album release will raise the curtains on a limited run of live Broadway performances at The Marquis Theater with special guest, Heather Headley, beginning November 7, 2013.

OLD BONES, RIVER CITY & More Set for Performance Network Theatre in December

Performance Network Theatre's Fireside New Play Festival (FNPF) returns with its latest installment of four of the hottest new plays in the country, performed for the first time on a Michigan stage on Sunday, December 15 through Wednesday, December 18 at 7pm. Audiences can sample works by UM grad and Chicago playwright Steven Simoncic, Louisville playwright Diana Grisanti, Chicago playwright Reina Hardy, and Michigan playwright Linda Ramsay-Detherage (author of the March FNPF hit "Sugarhill.") Performances are immediately followed by a facilitated talk back to share feedback on the brand new plays!

Horse Trade Theater Group to Present Less Than Rent's HOW LTR STOLE CHRISTMAS, 12/3-17

Horse Trade Theater Group will present Less Than Rent Theatre's World Premiere of HOW LTR STOLE CHRISTMAS, a late-night smorgasbord of short plays, musical guests, and variety acts from all over the city curated by the LTR staff. The show will run Tuesdays, December 3rd, 10th, & 17th at The Kraine Theater (85 E 4th St. between 2nd Ave and Bowery) at 9pm. Ensemble 212 to Present SONOROUS STRINGS, 11/13

Ensemble 212 presents Sonorous Strings: Orchestra Concert, the second show of its 2013-14 season on Wednesday, November 13th at 8pm. Representative of a true kaleidoscope of styles, the evening will feature music of the Baroque and Romantic eras as well as that of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Yale's School of Architecture and School of Drama Present STAGE DESIGNS BY MING CHO LEE, 11/21-2/1

New Haven, Conn.— Yale's School of Architecture and School of Drama are teaming up this fall to present “Stage Designs by Ming Cho Lee,” a retrospective of the award-winning designer and Yale professor's work in theater, opera, and dance. The exhibit, free and open to the public, will be on view Nov. 21–Feb. 1 in the Yale School of Architecture Gallery, 180 York St., in New Haven.

Summoners Ensemble Theatre's A CHRISTMAS CAROL to Play Merchant's House, 12/3-20

Summoners Ensemble Theatre and the Merchant's House Museum announce A Christmas Carol at the Merchant's House Museum. John Kevin Jones recreates his outstanding solo performance of A Christmas Carol, directed by Dr. Rhonda Dodd, in the intimate Greek revival double parlor of the landmark 1832 Merchant's House Museum (29 East 4th Street, Manhattan).

Official: Ruth Wilson to Star in, Co-Direct World Premiere of THE EL. TRAIN, Three Plays by O'Neill, Dec 6-30

Ruth Wilson (Saving Mr Banks, Anna Christie, A Streetcar Named Desire, Luther, The Lone Ranger) will star in the London premiere of The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth will act in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and will make her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. Train will run for a limited four-week season from 6 December - 30 December, with press nights on the 12 & 13 December. Design is by Richard Kent, with lighting by Neil Austin and original composition and sound design by Alex Baranowski. The El. Train is being produced by Found Productions. Further casting will be announced shortly.

Artists Rep Presents MISTAKES WERE MADE, Now thru 10/27

Michael Mendelson plays the lead role of Felix Artifex in Artists Rep's production of MISTAKES WERE MADE. Artistic Director Damaso Rodriguez directs Mendelson and guides the show to opening as the production's Associate Director. American Repertory Ballet Brings FALL KICK-OFF Shows to Rider University Tonight

American Repertory Ballet Hosts 'Meet the Company' On Pointe Event Today

American Repertory Ballet will be kicking off its monthly On Pointe Enrichment Series with their annual 'Meet the Company' event today, September 13, 2013 at 12:00pm, noon, at Princeton Ballet School - 301 North Harrison Street (above McCaffrey's supermarket in the Princeton Shopping Center).
