STAGES ST. LOUIS celebrates music legend and cross-over sensation Patsy Cline, May 31 through June 30 at the Robert G. Reim Theatre in Kirkwood. The touching true story, Always... Patsy Cline combines humor, heartache and 27 of Patsy's most unforgettable hits, such as 'Crazy,' 'Walkin' After Midnight,' 'Sweet Dreams,' and more.

As previously announced, John O'Hurley will star as King Arthur. Also starring will be Michelle Ragusa as The Lady of the Lake, Kevin Cahoon as Historian, John Scherer as Sir Robin, David Hibbard as Patsy, Chris Hoch as Sir Lancelot, Ben Davis as Sir Dennis Galahad, and Tally Sessions as Dennis' Mother/Sir Bedevere. Joining them will be broadcast legend Bob Costas as The Voice of God.

Partly Cloudy People has announced its production of Kim Rosenstock's Tigers Be Still, directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh. Tigers Be Still will play a three-week limited engagement at the DRILLING COMPANY THEATER (236 West 78 Street, Floor 3). Performances begin Thursday, May 9 and continue through Saturday, May 25. Opening night is May 9 (8 pm).

This revealing comedy peers into the backstage lives of Broadway power-duo Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne and summers spent at their legendary Wisconsin estate, Ten Chimneys.

Seth Gordon, associate artistic director of The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) will direct the first off-Broadway revival of Bill W. and Dr. Bob by Samuel Shem and Janet Surrey. This compelling and triumphant play about the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) will be performed at the SoHo Playhouse in New York beginning July 8, 2013.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis closes their season with a bang, literally, presenting a dramatically atmospheric production of novelist James M. Cain's classic work, DOUBLE INDEMNITY (lovingly adapted by David Pichette and R. Hamilton Wright). It's a script that overflows with double entendres, and is populated by the kind of hard boiled characters you would expect from this famous piece of pulp fiction. It even manages to outdo Billy Wilder's film noir version to a degree because it doesn't have to deal with the censor's deep cuts that left the movie a lot less racy and edgy than the book. Suffice to say, this is an incredibly cool, and surprisingly amusing, presentation that is another example of the kind of must-see theatre the Rep consistently produces.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) continues the Ignite! Festival of New Plays. Taking place this month, the festival will include commissions of nationally recognized playwrights, culminating with three public readings including Soups, Stews, and Casseroles by Rebecca Gilman and directed by Seth Gordon; Tamarack House by Michael Dowling and directed by Anders Cato; and Love in the Time of Cholera by Caridad Svich (based on the novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez) and directed by Jose Zayas. The festival productions will take place in the Sally S. Levy Opera Center, located at 210 Hazel Avenue, directly behind the Loretto-Hilton Center.

Dallas Theater Center presents Neil Simon's classic American comedy, The Odd Couple, directed by DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty. When two men with struggling relationships, neat and particular Felix Ungar and disheveled and rough-edged Oscar Madison, decide to live together, the results are funny and poignant. The Odd Couple opens with previews tonight, March 15 and runs through Sunday, April 14 at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

VENUS IN FUR is currently being presented in the Studio Theatre by the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, and it's an erotically-charged, sizzling presentation that's powered by incisive direction and exceptional performances. I can't speak highly enough of this smoldering tale. It unfolds with a myriad of twists and turns that serve to heighten the dramatic tension considerably. I can only say that this is an effort that demands to be seen, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
