ROCKWELL TABLE AND STAGE presents 'Just Come To This: The Songs of Adam Wachter' on Monday, May 23 at 8:00pm. The evening will feature works by up-and-coming musical theater composer/lyricist Adam Wachter, including original songs from his musicals Tarrytown and Zionsville, along with other favorites and new material written specifically for this night, all performed by a starry group of his obscenely talented, generous, and attention-hungry Broadway- and Television-star friends who have since all defected to the West Coast.

The Drama League today announced the new team to replace longtime artistic director Roger T. Danforth, who departs the storied company this summer. Travis LeMont Ballenger has been named to the newly created position of Associate Producer, and Sherri Eden Barber will assume the role of Program Director. Following its initial casting announcement in April, The Muny announced today additional principal cast members for its spectacular 98th season. The 2016 Muny season opens with The Wizard of Oz followed by 42nd Street and The Music Man. The season includes the premieres of the popular Mel Brooks comedy, Young Frankenstein and world-wide megahit, Mamma Mia!, and closes with Fiddler on the Roof and Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida.
The Old Globe to Offer Free Screening of THE CITIZEN, Starring Khaled Nabawy

In conjunction with the West Coast premiere of Camp David, The Old Globe will hold a free screening of the film The Citizen Egyptian film star and political activist Khaled Nabawy, who stars as Anwar Sadat in the Globe's production of Camp David. The film, which explores the search for the American Dream within the American reality, will screen on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the Globe's Hattox Hall. KPBS Arts & Culture Reporter and Cinema Junkie Beth Accomando will introduce the film and moderate a short Q&A discussion with Nabawy immediately after. Tickets are free but reservations are required. Tickets may be reserved by visiting our website or by calling the Ticket Office at (619) 23-GLOBE (234-5623).
