The evening will feature works by up-and-coming musical theater composer/lyricist Adam Wachter, including original songs from his musicals Tarrytown and Zionsville, along with other favorites and new material written specifically for this night, all performed by a starry group of his obscenely talented, generous, and attention-hungry Broadway- and Television-star friends who have since all defected to the West Coast.

Goodman Theatre announces Broadway stars John Dossett and Douglas Sills will join the cast of War Paint, a new musical starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole as Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, respectively. The Old Globe to Offer Free Screening of THE CITIZEN, Starring Khaled Nabawy

In conjunction with the West Coast premiere of Camp David, The Old Globe will hold a free screening of the film The Citizen Egyptian film star and political activist Khaled Nabawy, who stars as Anwar Sadat in the Globe's production of Camp David. The film, which explores the search for the American Dream within the American reality, will screen on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the Globe's Hattox Hall. KPBS Arts & Culture Reporter and Cinema Junkie Beth Accomando will introduce the film and moderate a short Q&A discussion with Nabawy immediately after. Tickets are free but reservations are required. Tickets may be reserved by visiting our website or by calling the Ticket Office at (619) 23-GLOBE (234-5623).
