The Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) will produce the world-premiere of Christopher Shinn's play PICKED in March, along with a new interactive work by Zach Helm inspired by Spalding Gray in February, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director of the Vineyard.

The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has announced 10 Finalists for its prestigious playwriting award, now celebrating it's thirty-third year. The Houston-based Prize received the 2010 Theatre Communications Group's National Funder Award. Keen Teens, the educational theatre partnership between Off-Broadway's Keen Company and the theatrical publishing company Playscripts, has selected the writers for the program's fifth season: Greg Kotis, Mike Lew, and Jenny Schwartz have been commissioned to write thirty-minute, large cast plays, which will be produced with student actors Off-Broadway.
