Children's Theatre of Charlotte's Tarradiddle Players bring a beloved children's story to life with 'Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel,' coming to the Wachovia Playhouse at ImaginOn from February 12-28.

Children's Theatre of Charlotte kicks off 2010 with 'Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing,' coming to the McColl Family Theatre from January 22 - February 14, 2010. This funny, touching tale of sibling rivalry is based on the best-selling book by beloved children's author Judy Blume.

Following critical acclaim and popular demand, Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced a three-week extension for the World Premiere of THIS, the new play by Obie Award winner Melissa James Gibson (Suitcase, [sic]). Directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin ([sic], eight seasons as Artistic Director of Soho Rep), the production opened Wednesday, December 2. Originally set to run through Sunday, December 13, the limited engagement will now play through Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the theater company's Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street). This date represents the latest extension possible for the show.

In celebration of over ten years of creating holiday musicals specifically written with multigenerational appeal, one of Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati's (ETC) most popular family-friendly holiday productions, SLEEPING BEAUTY by Joseph McDonough and David Kisor, returns December 2 through January 3 and is directed by D.
