The Philhallmonics Presents Holiday Concert, MAN WITH THE BAG Today

Join The Philhallmonics swingin' and singin' their way through holiday favorites in 'Man With The Bag' presented by The Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts and The PhilHallmonics (www.philhallmonics.com) today, December 7, 2013, 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center (entrance at 65th St & Amsterdam). The PhilHallmonics is led by founder, Broadway conductor and composer, Phil Hall and directed by Broadway choreographer Sharon Halley.

Native Voices at the Autry Kicks Off LEGAL BRIEFS Short Play Festival Today

Native Voices at the Autry continues its vital role as the country's only equity theatre company dedicated exclusively to developing the work of Native American Playwrights with its third annual Short Play Festival, featuring staged readings of six engaging short plays on the theme 'Legal Briefs: Lawmakers & Activists' written by veteran playwrights today, November 10, 1:30 p.m., at the Wells Fargo Theater at the Autry National Center in Los Angeles.

THE WATCH TOWER to Open 9/12 at American Theatre of Actors

Playwright Steve Silver and director Laurie Rae Waugh remind us of the dangers that once lurked beyond Eighth Avenue in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen in The Watch Tower, Silver's drama about racial tensions and organized crime. Seen through the eyes of Eileen, a resident since childhood, The Watch Tower opens in 1979 at a "sit-down" between the Irish and Italian mobs and moves briskly to St. Patrick's Day 1986 when Eileen must decide between family loyalty and her own survival. Love may conquer all - including Eileen herself.

Exclusive: PITCH PERFECT's Shelley Regner to Join Cast of Glory|struck's BARE

Producers are thrilled to announce that 'Pitch Perfect' actress Shelley Regner has joined the cast of the Los Angeles revival of bare as Nadia for select performances. Regner will be filling in for Katie Stevens (Fox's 'American Idol') on dates when she will be concurrently filming the MTV Pilot 'Faking It.'

Araca Project to Present Six Original Productions from Up-and-Coming Artists this Fall

Tickets are now on sale for The Araca Group's third annual Araca Project featuring six original productions including three plays, a research based theatrical event and a sketch/variety show. Performances begin September 3rd, 2013 at The American Theatre for Actors in New York City (314 W 54th St, New York, NY 10019).

BARE to Transfer to Greenwich Theatre this October

Cult rock musical BARE will transfer to Greenwich Theatre for a limited run from Wednesday 9 to Saturday 27 October 2013 (press night Friday 11 October) following its sold-out European Premiere at the Union Theatre, it was announced today.
