Uptown Players, a professional theater group located in the Uptown area of Dallas, has announced its programming for its upcoming Gay History Play Festival. From September 28 through October 19, 2018, Uptown Players will present three plays with themes that focus on Gay History.

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce that tickets for Cry Havoc Theater Company are on sale now! Cry Havoc Theater Company is part of the 2017/2018 ELEVATOR PROJECT season which features the work of small and emerging arts groups performing on the Center's campus in the Dallas Arts District. Three notable Dallas theatrical professionals have joined forces to launch a production company dedicated to mounting 19th and 20th century classics, The Classics Theatre Project. Founded by Gregory Patterson, he brings with him to the helm as Executive Director forty years of experience in nonprofit arts management including the last nine heading up development, marketing and administrative operations for WaterTower Theatre, where he collaborated with Terry Martin to produce more than forty productions.

WaterTower Theatre Board President Paul Shultz announced today that Managing Director Gregory Patterson will be leaving WaterTower Theatre at the conclusion of his current contract on September 30, 2017.

WaterTower Theatre Artistic Director Joanie Schultz today announced the Company will produce Hit the Wall, the groundbreaking Ike Holter play about the 1969 Stonewall uprising.  This production, the first to be selected and directed by Schultz, will replace the previously scheduled Sunday in the Park with George.
