Edge Theater's THE GRADUATE Begins Tomorrow

The Edge Theater presents 'The Graduate' June 6 - 29 at 1560 Teller Street in Lakewood. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 6 p.m; Thursdays, June 12, 19 and 26 @ 8 p.m. Tickets are $24 and available online at www.theedgetheater.com or by calling 303-232-0363. Aurora Theatre Company Extends TALLEY'S FOLLY Through 5/24/2015

Due to popular pre-sale demand, a year in advance, Aurora Theatre Company announces that it will extend Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning TALLEY'S FOLLY, the second fully staged production to be performed in the company's second stage performance space, Harry's UpStage. The company will add a sixth show to the existing performance weeks and will extend the original run dates an additional two weeks. Aurora Theatre Company pays homage to Lanford Wilson with "The Talley Trilogy." Acclaimed Bay Area actress and director Joy Carlin (After the Revolution, Body Awareness, Jack Goes Boating, Awake and Sing!) directs the first entry in this series of three interrelated plays.

In its tenth anniversary year, YOUTH MUSIC THEATRE UK (YMT) launches a groundbreaking season of international work in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland to be produced during the summer of 2014. Contemporary classical music rubs shoulders with dubstep, jazz and Persian mugham. Musical theatre songs are juggled with polyphonic singing, and both physical theatre and actor musicianship are centre stage. Young talented composers, directors and writers stand alongside icons of the theatre.

BWW Review: INSIGNIFICANCE at Nora Theatre

INSIGNIFICANCE is a slight play populated with four iconic characters that have held great significance in American culture. Director Daniel Gidron draws impressive performances from his cast without resorting to caricature or imitation. Stacy Fischer is worth the price of admission.

Barbara Windsor Backs Campaign for Joan Littlewood Sculpture

Barbara Windsor has joined Theatre Royal Stratford East's fundraising campaign to build a sculpture of the legendary director, Joan Littlewood. The theatre launches a public appeal to raise the final 40% needed for the sculpture International artist Philip Jackson has been commissioned to create the bronze sculpture. The sculpture is due to be installed in spring 2014 in Theatre Square and will coincide with theatre's staging of Oh What A Lovely War.
