Laguna Playhouse has announced its 2017-2018 season of shows.

???????Terry Johnson's brilliant comedy and farce takes its inspiration from history, when in 1938 the surrealist painter Salvador Dali paid a visit to Sigmund Freud who had recently escaped Nazi Europe and settled in London.

With their critically acclaimed production of Stephen Karam's Speech and Debate running at the Trafalgar Studios, Defibrillator Artistic Director James Hillier today announces a casting update for their production of Sam Shepherd's A Lie of the Mind.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to host Henry Naylor's ANGEL & ECHOES at the 2017 Brits Off Broadway festival. Directed by Michael Cabot (ANGEL) and Emma Butler(ECHOES), and produced by Redbeard Theatre Ltd with Gilded Balloon Production, ANGEL & ECHOESbegins performances on Tuesday, April 11 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 7.  Press Opening is Sunday, April 16 at 3:15 PM. David Mirvish, Michael Harrison, John Reid and Paul Elliott are delighted to present the Canadian premiere of the new British musical MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS, based on the smash-hit film.  Performances begin Wednesday March 15 through April 23 at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre.  Media night is Wed March 22, 2017

Dead Funny, written and directed by Terry Johnson will end it's scheduled run at the Vaudeville Theatre on Saturday 4 February 2017.

Following a critically acclaimed UK tour, Kathryn Barker Productions today announces new dates for Henry Naylor's The Collector at Greenwich Theatre.

With the long, dark and cold winter nights upon us, we could all do with a bit of lighthearted comedy to cheer us up! Terry Johnson's 'Dead Funny' originally made its West End debut 22 years ago in the very same theatre where the current run is housed, the Vaudeville Theatre. Set in 1992 it takes place during the week in April where two much loved comedians, Frankie Howerd and Benny Hill, died within days of each other.

Eleanor wants a child. Richard would oblige if he could, but he's too busy running the Dead Funny Society. When British comedy heroes Frankie Howerd and Benny Hill turn up their toes in the same week the Society gather for a celebration of hilarity and laughter. But Eleanor's grin masks a grimace. When your marriage is deader than either Morecambe or Wise it's hard to see the funny side of things.

Choreographer Drew McOnie's recent work includes Jekyll & Hyde at the Old Vic, Jesus Christ Superstar at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, Bugsy Malone at Lyric Hammersmith, and In the Heights at King's Cross Theatre, for which he won an Olivier Award. He's currently directing and choreographing the UK premiere of Strictly Ballroom The Musical, which begins previews at West Yorkshire Playhouse on 30 November.

David Mirvish has announced the 17 shows in the 2016 - 2017 Mirvish Theatre Season.  There will be seven shows in the Mainstage Subscription Series, three in the Off-Mirvish Subscription Series, and seven bonus shows not on subscription.

Following acclaimed runs at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival and the Arcola Theatre, Kathryn Barker Productions today announces a UK tour of Henry Naylor's THE COLLECTOR. William Reay, who reprises his role from the Edinburgh and Arcola runs, is joined by Anna Riding and Olivia Beardsley. Michael Cabot directs the production which tours to 29 venues across the UK this autumn, starting at York Theatre Royal's Studio tonight 21 September.
