In celebration of his hit memoir 'From Hobo Flats the The 5th Dimension,' Mr. McLemore will be interviewed by his biographer Robert-Allan Arno before taking questions from fans. 'Mac' as he is warmly known, not only will share 40 years of uplifting, history-making adventures with The 5th Dimension, but his 50 years as the photographer of JET magazine's enticing 'Beauty of the Week' feature. The humorously heartwarming story-teller will follow with a memoir-signing of 'From Hobo Flats to The 5th Dimension,' with books available at the venue, including photo ops for fans.

Melancholy Play: A Chamber Musical, begins as one might expect-- with a song about being melancholy. Set in what looks like the aftermath of a New Year's eve party with gold tinsel strewn about the floor, and a sad, saggy banner on the back wall. Our five characters regale the audience a song of melancholy setting the audience up for a witty, if nonsensical 90 minutes.

World-class magicians and illusionists astonished audiences today at the launch of brand new West End show IMPOSSIBLE. The biggest magic show London has seen in decades is set to thrill audiences at London's Noel Coward Theatre this summer when it opens on 24th July. Spectators at the launch event were given taste of what's to come as the magicians performed a number of dumbfounding stunts, from Houdini's death-defying water tank escape with a 21st century twist to contemporary street magic.

The box office for Penn & Teller On Broadway, which will play the Marquis Theatre (46th Street between Broadway and 8th), opens on June 8. The production's opening night has been confirmed for July 12. Penn & Teller on Broadway will play from July 7 - August 16. Lehmann Maupin is pleased to announce an exhibition of works by German artist Juergen Teller and Chinese artist Xiang Jing in Hong Kong. In this exhibition both Teller and Xiang explore the idea of desire, yet from opposing perspectives. Teller's photographs are overladen with indicators of desire, whereas Xiang Jing strips desire away from her sculptures. Both artists will be present for an opening reception at the gallery tonight, May 21 from 6-8PM.
