USA Today reports that British director Sam Taylor-Johnson will helm the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of 50 SHADES OF GREY.

BAFTA nominee Sam Taylor-Johnson (NOWHERE BOY) will helm the steamy Focus Features and Universal project, beating out Gus Van Sant and Joe Wright, according to Deadline.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) has signed a slate of renowned global licensees, led by master toy partner Bandai America Incorporated, to capture the adventurous thrills of Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' highly anticipated film Godzilla.

As BWW Movies previously reported, Quicksilver is set to sprint into Bryan Singer's X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, with Evan Peters (Taylor-Johnson's KICK-ASS costar) taking the role. There was ample speculation that Evans might keep the role for Whedon's AVENGERS 2 - though it appears that route has been abandoned.

On Saturday 6 April, MAMMA MIA! celebrated its 14th birthday in London and now enters its 15th year. The show has also extended its booking period to 5 April 2014.

Helen Hobson will return to the role of Donna Sheridan in the global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! from tonight, Monday 24 September, less than three weeks after the musical, now in its 14th year in London, has transferred from the Prince of Wales Theatre to its new home in the Novello Theatre.

The new cast of West End's MAMMA MIA! appeared at the Prince of Wales Theatre, and has now moved to its new home at the Novello Theatre from 6 September 2012. The new cast includes Gary Milner, real-life wife Sally Ann Triplett, Neil Roberts as Harry Bright, James Gaddas as Bill Austin, Charlotte Wakefield as Sophie Sheridan, Andreas Gyllander as Sky, Abiola Ogunbiyi as Ali, Tasha Taylor Johnson as Lisa, Steven Oliver as Pepper and Liam Doyle as Eddie. At certain performances, the role of 'Donna Sheridan' will be played by Claire Poyzer. Joanna Monro and Kim Ismay will continue as Rosie and Tanya respectively. James Cundall, Lunchbox Theatrical Productions chief executive, recently presented British actors Sara Poyzer (Donna Sheridan), Charlotte Wakefield (Sophie Sheridan), Rosie Heath (Ali), Tasha Taylor Johnson (Lisa) and Kelly Edwards to the local media. These lead actors, together with some 30 cast members, will headline MAMMA MIA! at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Main Theatre starting January 24, 2012.

Producing team Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley (in conjunction with William Collier) took the 2008 Tony Award-winner for Best Theatrical Event, Jay Johnson: The Two and Only to England. The show is being performed for a limited run, from June 25th to September 28th at the Arts Theatre London.
