The Secret Theatre has announced KINGOM COME-a new musical with 14 stories centered around the events of September 11th, 2001. With 14 original songs and a book written by Mathew Webster, this exciting production is directed by Marc Cornes and will play a limited engagement. Performances will begin tonight, September 11th and continue through Thursday, September 13th at The Secret Theatre.

Tonight, August 13, 2012, New York Theatre Barn will present NYTB in the D-Lounge, a monthly concert for emerging musical theatre writers (now in its 5th year), at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The August 2012 installment of NYTB in the D-Lounge features an excerpt from the new musical Carolina Breeze from writing team Joel Waggoner and Lori Mannette, as well as selections from the new musical Kingdom Come by Matt Webster. The monthly series is executive produced by Laura Brandel and Jason Najjoum.

"The Land of the Purple People," a new play by 20 year old college student Paige Strothmann, which deals with the idea of a genderless society while tackling the issue of inequality, will have its first ever staged performance on November 24, presented by the Manhattan Theatre Source as part of their Playground Development Series.
