RUPAUL'S DRAG U Returns Revamped to Logo Tonight, 6/18

Television's most fabulous makeover show is back and totally revamped. The third season of 'RuPaul's Drag U' delivers more diva transformations, more drag queens and more surprises as biological women are treated not only to show-stopping makeovers, but also receive once-in-a-lifetime, real-world hair, makeup and fashion tips from the world's greatest drag faculty. This season continues to deliver fan favorite drag queens, more iconic celebrity judges and life-changing stories as eight new, one-hour episodes premiere tonight, June 18 at 9PM ET/PT on Logo.

Brandon Andrus, Colby Foytik et al. to Star in JERSEY BOYS at Providence Performing Arts Center, 8/15-9/2

Casting has been announced for the Providence engagement of the Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) August 15 - September 2, 2012. The cast of JERSEY BOYS will be led by Brandon Andrus (Nick Massi), Colby Foytik (Tommy DeVito), Jason Kappus (Bob Gaudio), and Brad Weinstock (Frankie Valli) as The Four Seasons, with Barry Anderson and Thomas Fiscella.

Dance/NYC presents the launch of Connect the Blocks: Resource Sharing in NYC Dance with a town hall hosted by Performance Space 122, 150 First Avenue (Entrance on E. Ninth Street), NYC, tonight, June 11, 2012 from 6-8:30pm. Connect the Blocks is a new initiative by Fourth Arts Block (FABnyc) and OurGoods to strengthen the culture of resource sharing for dance makers across the city. Admission is free, but advanced registration is required. Reservations can be made here.

EDUCATING RITA to Play Edinburgh Festival in August

Following a limited season at the Menier Chocolate Factory and a UK Tour Educating Rita, the Olivier Award-winning comedy by Willy Russell, will play at the Assembly George Square Theatre this summer from Wednesday 1st - Sunday 26th August 2012 as part of the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Claire Sweeney plays Rita and Matthew Kelly is Dr Frank Bryant in a production directed by Tamara Harvey.

Richard Rose Receives TAPA's 2012 Barbara Hamilton Memorial Award

Barbara Hamilton Memorial Award was inaugurated in 1996 and is given to a Canadian artist who demonstrates excellence in the performing arts and is dedicated to advocating and being an ambassador for the arts in Canada. The Barbara Hamilton Memorial Award is sponsored by the City of Toronto, and the recipient is awarded with a scroll and a cheque for $1,000 from the City.

Musical Chairs Chamber Ensemble Presents World Premiere Work by Matt McBane Today, 6/3

Musical Chairs Chamber Ensemble, Inc. (MCCE) will present the world premiere of a commissioned piece by Matt McBane, winner of its 2012 Composer Search paired with a work by Andrew Sterman, MCCE's Composer-in-Residence for 2005-06. The concert will take place at The Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art today, June 3, 2012 at 3pm and features MCCE members Tamara Keshecki (flute), Clarice Jensen (cello) and Anthony Turner (baritone) with guest artists Andrew Sterman (alto saxophone), Oren Fader (guitar), a guest bassist and percussionist. The performance will be livestreamed from www.mcensemble.org and MCCE will field questions during via Twitter and Facebook.
