Dane Cook to Play Franz Liebkind in THE PRODUCERS at The Hollywood Bowl, July 27-29

The casting for the Hollywood Bowl's production of THE PRODUCERS is complete with the announcement of Dane Cook - one of the country's most popular comedians - as Franz Liebkind. Cook joins previously announced cast members Richard Kind as Max Bialystock, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Leo Bloom, Roger Bart as Carmen Ghia, Gary Beach as Roger De Bris, and Rebecca Romijn as Ulla.

Due to popular demand, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) has announced the extension of the Bay Area premiere of The Scottsboro Boys, the critically acclaimed musical based on a tragic chapter in American history. Tickets are now on sale through Sunday, July 22. Preview performances begin tomorrow, June 21, with opening night scheduled for Wednesday, June 27. American Dance Machine Workshop to Feature Works by Michael Bennett, Susan Stroman, and More!

American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21) will present a workshop presentation of four classic musical theater and film dance numbers on Thursday, June 28 at New York City Center, Studio 4 at 6 pm. Each piece has been coached by artists intimately involved in their original productions; numbers from Contact, A Chorus Line, Lovely to Look At and Jerome Robbins' Broadway will be presented. The evening will be directed by Artistic Director Margo Sappington and feature live music with musical direction by Tedd Firth. ADM21 is a new not-for-profit dance company founded by Executive Director Nikki Feirt Atkins, dedicated to creating a living and vibrant archive of classic and current notable musical theater choreography.

Susan Stroman-Helmed BULLETS OVER BROADWAY to Open in 2013-14 Season!

Producers Julian Schlossberg and Letty Aronson have just announced that five time Tony Award® winner Susan Stroman will direct and choreograph the world premiere production of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, the new musical adaptation of Woody Allen's and Douglas McGrath's screenplay of the 1994 crime-comedy film when it arrives home on Broadway in the 2013 - 2014 season.

CAROLE J. BUFFORD Debuts At The Colony Hotel, Palm Beach

Carole J. Bufford made her entrance on the New York cabaret stage in the Metropolitan Room's MetroStar Talent Challenge. Immediately following, she was asked to perform at the 2009 Cabaret Convention at Jazz@Lincoln Center presented by the Mabel Mercer Foundation. In addition, Ms. Bufford has been featured in numerous Broadway By The Year concerts, both at The Town Hall and in California. She has also performed in All Singin', All Dancin' as well as the recent Tribute to Judy Garland and The Art of American Dance at The Town Hall where she shared the stage with Lorna Luft and Susan Stroman in an all-star cast.
