Full Company Announced for Shoshana Bean-Led FUNNY GIRL at North Shore Music Theatre

Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) is announcing full cast and creative team is being announced for the sparkling new production of FUNNY GIRL. They will be joining Shoshana Bean who was previously announced in the role of Fanny Brice. FUNNY GIRL starts performances on Tuesday, June 7 and plays thru Sunday, June 19, 2016.

Syracuse Stage Shows Play Coast-to-Coast This Month

During the month of February, Syracuse Stage will have four productions appearing coast-to-coast. Here locally, In the Next Room, or the vibrator play will complete its run on February 15. Sizwe Banzi is Dead recently completed a run in Princeton, NJ and will start up in Syracuse on February 25. Other Desert Cities will start performing in Portland, OR on February 21 where it will run several weeks before moving to Syracuse Stage in April. Stage's fall production of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson had a second run in Seattle, WA that ended February 8.

Hangar Theatre to Present OTHER DESERT CITIES, 7/31-8/9

Finishing out its 40th Mainstage Season, the Hangar Theatre will be producing the regional premiere of Jon Robin Baitz's 2012 Tony Award nominee for Best Play, Other Desert Cities. Directed by Mark Shanahan, who is making his Hangar Theatre directing debut, Other Desert Cities will run from July 31, until August 9, 2014. Join the cast, crew, and Hangar staff on opening night, Friday, August 1 at 8pm at the Hangar Theatre, as they celebrate the last show of their 40th Anniversary of the Mainstage Season. The Hangar Theatre is located at 801 Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca, NY 14850 in Cass Park.
