Cast And Creative Team Announced For LITTLE ROCK At The Sheen Center

Rebel Theatrical Management, LLC (Harvey Butler, producer), in association with The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, have announced, today, the cast and the creative team for the New York premiere of the new play Little Rock, written and directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj. Performances are set to begin Today, May 30, 2018 for a limited run through September 8, 2018 at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street). Opening Night is set for Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 7:00PM.

Lineup For 3rd Annual Women In Theatre Festival Announced

Project Y Theatre Company presents the 3rd Annual WOMEN IN THEATRE FESTIVAL from May 30 - June 24 at IRT Theatre (154 Christopher Street, between Washington & Greenwich Streets in the West Village). The Festival seeks to broaden the opportunities for women in the entertainment industry by producing new work by women with more than 50% female representation of all artists involved.

Arena Stage's THE ORIGINALIST Comes to 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to welcome the NYC premiere of THE ORIGINALIST written by John Strand and directed by Molly Smith. Produced by Middle Finger Production, LLC [Beth Newburger, Executive Producer] and Arena Stage and part of 59E59's Subscription Series, THE ORIGINALIST begins performances on Saturday, July 14 for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 19. 

Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID Comes to the Warner

The Warner Stage Company will present Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID, sponsored by Torrington Savings Bank, on the Main Stage July 28-August 5, 2018. In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages.

BWW Review: ADAM & EVE, The Hope Theatre

The couple at the heart of the award winning writer Tim Cook's new play - Adam (Lee Knight) and Eve (Jeannie Dickinson) - inevitably calls to mind its biblical counterpart. They are a young, naive and aspiring couple who fell in love at first sight and who move to a countryside idyll in order to realise the full expression of newlywed bliss through the purchase of their first property together, raising a family and living happily ever after in their own version of Eden.

TUCK EVERLASTING Comes to The Studio Theatre

The Studio Theatre presents Tuck Everlasting June 14 - July 1, 2018. Tickets are $25.00 for general admission. Tickets are $20.00 for Seniors (65+), Military, and Students. There are no assigned seats at The Studio Theatre. The box office will open at 6:30pm on performance dates and the house will open approximately 15 - 20 minutes prior to curtain. Box Office opens at 1:30pm on matinee days.

Cast and Creatives Announced For West Coast Premiere Of NATIVE GARDENS!

The Old Globe's 2017-2018 Season continues with today's announcement of the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of Karen Zacarias's Native Gardens, which was developed in the Globe's 2017 Powers New Voices Festival. Edward Torres (the Globe's Water by the Spoonful) directs this uproarious new comedy, playing May 26 - June 24, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run May 26-30. Opening night is Thursday, May 31 at 8:00 p.m.

HCC's Arts Collective Presents MAKING ADVANCES: REVEALING STORIES ABOUT GENDER & SEXUAL IDENTITY

Howard Community College's (HCC) Arts Collective concludes its 23rd season with its eighth original devised work "Making Advances: Revealing Stories About Gender & Sexual Identity." This production, conceived by the cast and creatives, will take place June 7-17, in the Studio Theatre located within the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center (HVPA).

Lakeside Pavilion Free Outdoor Summer Series Of Films And Concerts Includes Three New Components

McAninch Arts Center, located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage (COD), presents the 2018 Lakeside Pavilion Free Outdoor Summer Series. Programming runs July 12-Aug.10 and includes a Thursday evening Family Movie Series, the Thursday evening WDCB Live Jazz Concert Series and a Friday evening Pop Music Series. One of the highlights of the Friday evening series promises to be the July 20 New Philharmonic pops concert, which will be broadcast on Facebook Live for the second year in a row. New for this season: To help insure everyone's safety in light of the growing popularity of the series, seating for films and evening concerts will begin at 6 p.m. No admittance will be allowed prior to 6 p.m. for sound check and security reasons.  Admission to Lakeside Pavilion Summer Series events and parking is always free.
