The second production of the new Jewish Theatre's 2018-19 season is the entertaining comedy, An Act of God. Directed by NJT Artistic Director Edward Coffield, the show runs November 29 - December 16.

Actor Ng Ka Leung's portrayal of an Alzheimer's patient earned him a nomination as Outstanding Actor at the 9th Hong Kong Theatre Libre. The original cast returns for this revival, including newly crowned Golden Horse "Best Supporting Actor" Ben Yuen, Sung Boon Ho, Man Sui Hing and Ng Ka Leung. New York City Opera has announced that it will produce the world premiere of the award-winning jazz composer/pianist Ted Rosenthal's DEAR ERICH. This new jazz opera, to be co-produced with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, will open Wednesday, January 9 and will play four performances only through Sunday, January 13 at the Edmond J. Safra Hall at 36 Battery Place, in lower Manhattan.
