ESPN today announced that Sager will be honored with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award on July 13 at The 2016 ESPYS presented by Capital One on ABC.

ESPN anchor Stuart Scott has passed away at age 49 following a long battle with cancer, ESPN announced on Sunday morning.
