Steven Tyler, Queen Latifah & More Set for Nobel Peace Prize Concert in December

Nobel Peace Prize Concert organizers announced today that iconic songwriter and prolific singer Steven Tyler, hip-hop star Queen Latifah, Bollywood sensation Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, British soul singer Laura Mvula, Norway's Gabrielle, the inspirational Girls of The World, and a sparkling Bollywood number will entertain audiences at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert on December 11th in the Oslo Spektrum arena. It was announced earlier that the Concert will be hosted by Queen Latifah.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company continues its 2014/15 subscription season with the world premiere production of Airline Highway, written by Lisa D'Amour (Detroit, How to Build a Forest) and directed by Joe Mantello (The Last Ship, Casa Valentina, Wicked). Steppenwolf's production will be presented by Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC) at their Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on Broadway in Spring 2015. Airline Highway begins previews December 4, 2014 (Opening night is December 14, 2014; Press performances areDecember 13 at 3pm and December 16 at 7:30pm) and runs through February 8, 2015 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St). Macy's today announced the final lineup of star performances for the 88th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade®. On Thursday, Nov. 27, Broadway's best shows will be joined by the new musical comedy Honeymoon in Vegas and the float line up of performers will see the addition of pop rockers American Authors and country duo Dan + Shay. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade airs on NBC-TV, 9 a.m. - noon in all time zones.

The music legend is reportedly not only waiving his weekly royalties from the musical, but he is even considering joining the cast in January.
