A world premiere screening of the Sondheim: The Birthday Concert was held at the NYIT Auditorium on November 1, 2010 and attended by cast, crew and friends. The star-studded event, Sondheim! The Birthday Concert, celebrating the 80th birthday of the Broadway and film legend Stephen Sondheim with performances of his music and songs by some of the world's biggest talents, will make its debut on PBS stations across the country on November 24th, thanks to the Emmy Award-winning producer Ellen M. Krass and multiple Tony Award-winning co-producers Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley in association with Thirteen/WNET and Image Entertainment. The production, which is hosted by David Hyde Pierce, will air at 9PM ET (check local listings).

Bay Street Theatre is pleased to announce that Stewart Lane and Bonnie Cromley were the auction winners of the Bay Street Theatre Summer Benefit Gala's 'Evening Aboard America.' The yacht is owned by Ted Conklin of The American Hotel and Board Member at Bay Street Theatre. He donated an evening cruise with cocktails and hors d'oeuvers for 12 people for the 'LIVE' Fantasy Auction held on July 17.

The New York Times reports today that LA CAGE's most temperamental Cagelle, Nick Adams, will be joining the cast of PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT. Assuming the familiar role of yet another drag queen, Adams will play the role of Felicia in the North American company of PRISCILLA, which will open at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto on October 12 before heading to Broadway next spring.

The series is unique because it develops new producers as well as new musicals, and in keeping true to its mission, the TRU talkbacks focus on producer concerns regarding the development of these works beyond the series. The panels will follow readings of the works on Mondays, December 8 and 15, 2008 at 7:30pm at the Players Theatre, located at 115 MacDougal Street, NYC.
